Dear NWS families,

Welcome all to the 2022-23 academic year!

We are looking forward to seeing our students back in school.

As you might have learned, in July I was appointed as the Executive Principal for NWS and WMS. I will be spending 40% of my time at NWS. Ms. Majek was promoted to Associate Principal, and Ms. Malan joined our administrative team as Dean of Students; she will be 50% of her time at NWS and the rest at Sweeney Elementary school.

During the summer, the NWS team have been working very hard to ensure we are ready to continue with our last year’s social-emotional initiatives and also planned strategies to improve our students’ academic achievement.

Our goal is to promote a safe school environment that is based on respect, kindness, and high academic achievement. We also strive to provide fun and enriching opportunities for our students, such as field trips and school events that involve our parents’ participation.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite all parents to be part of the school’s decision-making process by joining out PTO and School Governance Council.
